Kildare Dobbs is one of the most accomplished and renowned writers of Canada. Winner of the Governor General's Award and the National Magazine Award, his work has been widely anthologised, including in several editions of The Norton Reader. Born in India, Kildare Dobbs was raised in Ireland, educated at Jesus College, Cambridge, and worked in East Africa prior to coming to Canada in 1952. This is his first book of published poems.
