Since the first edition of this book was published in 2017, interest in the coins of the British EIC has greatly increased. This has resulted in an increase in public auction sales, with numerous previously unknown coins appearing on the market. Auction descriptions now provide more information, and the quality of posted photos has improved. This second edition reflects these many new discoveries. Upgraded images are used throughout the catalogue, with some descriptions made clearer and more accurate; listings which could not be verified have been removed.
